At home, I can:
- observe your cat in his/her own environment, even extra useful with behavioural issues and with older cats to assess movement, vision, mental health etc.
- do physical checks and diagnostics such as blood pressure measurement, urine- and bloodtests, cytology
- do preventive treatments such as vaccination, deworming, parasite control, nutritional advise
- treat a range of illnesses and do the medical supervision of cats with chronical health issues
- if there’s no other option: to euthanize your beloved cat in his or her familiar surroundings
General anaesthetic, surgery, intensive care and certain diagnostics such as X-ray and ultrasound cannot be done at home. For these situations, I work with Merels Dierenkliniek in Haarlem and EDZ Amsterdam in Amstelveen.
